Hooray! Success on the Donation Page

Thank you so much everyone for contributing to the leash fund on our donation page—we reached our $250 request!  Check out the page to see if you might be interested in helping with anything—no amount is too smallJ We will be replacing that request with this medical need. Daisy, a lovely, friendly brindle pit bull, was given up by people who, among other problems, could not afford to provide for her needs. She’ll be walking along or playing and will suddenly be flat on the ground.  A bilateral cruciate ligament operation is required to relieve this painful condition. It is hard to find an expert in this field who would also provide a discount (this operation on one leg alone runs from $1000-1500 locally), however, we were successful with a vet in Kankakee.  The total for this procedure will be $600 per leg.  Please help if you can.
