Soggy Paws, at 1148 W Leland, is a friend of Lake Shore Animal Shelter and will host an adoption event for us the second Saturday of each month.  We have great volunteers who join in the dog washing, often getting a "dog bath" themselves!  Everyone has a

lot of fun, the dogs get their coats and skin gently cleaned, and the Soggy Paws grooming assistance staff are great!  

 

If you have a dog that sheds, long hair or short, they have a machine called the "furminator", which can be a real life-saver for those of us with asthma or allergy issues!  Check out their website: www.soggypaws.com.  They have been voted the best "no frills" dog wash in Chicago,and there's a really interesting story about one man's experience with his two cats.  Yes--they work with cats too.
