Dearest Friends: BIG NEWS!!! Lake Shore Animal Shelter (LSAS) has moved to a new location at Unleashed doggie daycare, located at 1535 N. Dayton in Chicago! What’s that, you ask? WHY did we move? My goodness, where can I start? Our own dedicated area inside a state-of-the-art, 9,000 square foot facility in one of Chicago’s most convenient neighborhoods; Loft-style architecture, featuring exposed brick and beams; Huge, open-exercise area on the second floor; custom-installed, non-porous rubber flooring (bacteria-resistant, soft on doggy paws, and helps with noise control, too!); on-site availability of professional training and grooming. I could go on and on! But the biggest reason we moved Lake Shore to Unleashed is the people; Warm, caring, knowledgeable staff members who have the training, the patience, the dedication, and the heart to assist our volunteers in giving our Lake Shore dogs the loving care and attention they need, while we search for new, permanent homes for them. (That’s right! These are dog people, folks!) In fact, the owners and many of the staff members of Unleashed are longtime LSAS volunteers! AND NOW FOR MORE BIG NEWS! (for you!) If you need doggie daycare for your precious pooch, you can take advantage of the same great benefits that convinced us! The same amenities, the same convenient location, and that great staff! Overnight boarding, on-going daycare, a safe, reliable place for your dog when you’re away for business or pleasure, or just an occasional, “special day” for your dog to play and socialize with other dogs in a well-regulated, nurturing environment: Unleashed has it all! AND WE SAVED THE BEST FOR LAST! Every customer that does business with Unleashed helps Lake Shore, too!! If you do need doggie daycare or related services, by choosing Unleashed you not only help yourself and your pet, you’ll be helping Lake Shore and hundreds of homeless pets as well. Now how great is that? We’d like to extend this invitation to attend Unleashed’s GRAND OPENING on Friday evening, June 6th, from 6:00 to 10:00 PM. There’ll be soft drinks, wine, nibbles, and door prizes, too! There’ll even be free, on-going, informative presentations on everything from the latest dog training methods to dog massage information, to Pet First Aid and CPR! It’ll be a wonderful opportunity to meet the staff, tour the facility, and ask any questions you have about Unleashed. (Naturally, there is no obligation.) Just stop by and have a great time!
