The holidays are upon us again, and it’s a great time for getting
together with friends and family. The house is full of people, you get
to see old friends and how their children have grown and while you are
busy trying to catch up with conversations, and serve everyone’s needs,
the household cats and dogs are left to their own devices.
Indiana Animal Care Officials To Kill Adoptable Animals Before Moving To New Facility Friday, Nov 14
Marion County Indiana Animal Care and Control (ACC) officials are
essentially holding hostage approximately 95 dogs, cats, and kittens,
threatening to kill them unless other groups or individuals take them.
Did a natural disaster take place here? No. Did the government go
broke? Again, no.
Take a look at Lake Shore’s new page, created for you and your dogs and cats! You can upload lots of photos and there’s room for comments under each—it’s fun for everyone to read the stories about others experiences with their new furry family members, documenting the “getting to know you” phase with photos and sharing that. It’s not always a breeze, just the opposite, usually, yet even in the frustrations of trying to communicate there are funny, wonderful realizations made worth talking about! Let’s spread the laughter around—hope to see you there!
Oh! What A Night
With Many Thanks To The PetCo Foundation
And All Those Who Participated!
Dog’s Night Out is a night in which Lake Shore Animal Shelter and all
attendees endeavor, in some small way, to repay our four-legged friends
for the immeasurable debt that we owe them; a debt which can never
really be repaid.
